I often work with individuals with ADHD, autism, OCD, or high sensitivity, and I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space that meets you where you’re at.My approach integrates evidence based practices like CBT and Brainspotting, tailored to each person’s needs, pace, and nervous system.
Hi, I’m Rhonda Palmer, LCSW. If you’ve ever muted your voice, hidden parts of yourself, or felt stuck in repeating patterns that drain you, especially in relationships, anxiety, or self doubt, you’re not alone. I work with neurodivergent adults, highly sensitive people, and anyone navigating self esteem, anxiety, or relationship challenges, who wants to be seen and understood as they are. With 17+ years in social work and certifications as a Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional and Autism Spectrum Clinical Specialist, I create a safe, real space to help you understand yourself, explore old wounds, and build on your strengths, step by step. I work best with people ready to be honest, curious, and willing to grow, even if it feels messy or uncertain. In our sessions, we collaborate using tools like CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Brainspotting. I bring empathy, humor, and respect to every session. My goal isn’t to “fix” you, it’s to help you uncover the wisdom you already have and navigate life with more clarity, confidence, and self understanding. If you’re ready to explore yourself honestly and step into your strengths, we could be a fit.“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” - Albert Einstein“It always seems impossible until it’s done.” - Nelson Mandela

Sharing feedback is entirely voluntary and may be shared at anytime, though it is typically shared at the end of therapy.Feedback will never affect care, reflects a client's personal perspective, and may provide information to others exploring support. Feedback does not guarantee outcomes.
“I lost my dad in July 2020. I struggled with grieving and supporting my mom. I started therapy with Rhonda in January. She helped me so much and still continues to. I try to visit once a month but life happens. She is very easy to talk to!”— L.N.

Why I Include Cognitive Pattern ResetSome research suggests brief visuospatial activities, like rotating and placing shapes, may help interrupt intrusive visual imagery, reducing the frequency and intensity of intrusive memories for some trauma exposed individuals. This isn’t a treatment for trauma or PTSD, and it doesn’t replace therapy or other forms of care. It’s simply a low risk, grounding option which engages the brain’s visual system in a way that may soften intrusive memory patterns for some people.
